ℹ️ To keep your personal and tax information secure, Sprintax uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second verification step when you sign in.
👉 Log-in to your Sprintax Returns account: https://www.sprintax.com/returns/ to set up your 2FA simply navigate towards the right upper corner of your page and click on your profile picture. Afterwards, click on 2FA:
📌 Once you've clicked on 2FA you will be directed to the next part of the process. Scroll down a bit and find the Authenticator app section:
➡️ Click on Add Authenticator and name it accordingly:
➡️ Once you've done that, a new window will pop up prompting you to open your 2FA app on your smartphone device:
🔍 You'll have to access your downloaded 2FA app and scan the QR code shown in your Sprintax account. Go to 'Settings/Add new account' in the authenticator app and scan the QR code that you see on your page.
👉 Once the account has been added to your 2FA app, you'll have to enter the generated code from your app here:
👉 Once you enter the code generated by your 2FA app, a notification will pop up in the upper right corner of your screen letting you know that you have successfully activated your 2FA:
💡 Tip: We recommend you to use MS (Microsoft) Authenticator as it is the easiest to navigate through. If you need a step-by-step instructions on how to utilize your MS Authenticator app, click here.
✅ Logging In with 2FA going forward each time you log in:
Enter your email and password
Enter the one-time verification code when prompted
This helps ensure only you can access your account.
